Hi, I loved your music for the New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Is any of it available on CD? Some of the portions of "Stripes," "Pooh Oughta Be in Pictures," and "Find Her Keep Her" are beautiful.

You bear (no pun intended) an unnerving resemblance to a certain Steve Nelson I was cooped up with in the tiny confines of "First Win" studios many moons ago. We got Hornsby and Dees on tape, fell down and hid from each other. Are you he?

Great music, Steve!
Was looking for another Steve Nelson (there seems to be thousands) when stumbling across your site. Love the tunes! I'm also a musician who plays folk style Americana. If you ever visit Florida, shoot me an email, and I'll come to your gig. You can find me at Myspace too, if you'd like a listen. URL is http://www.myspace.com/tommytokes

Good morning,

I'm 15 years old and I'm French.

I watched an episode which is called The Good, the Bad and the Tigger from the season 4 of The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (1991).

And I've listened a song in this episode with a harmonica.

I would like to know if this song is real or if it's you who had composed it.
If it's a real song, can you give me the title ?

There are a video of this episode : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqlPitirqyU
The song begnin at 0:44, at 1:35 and at 2:01...

Thanks in advance...

Gauthier

I came across your site while navigating to my website. I happen to also be Steve Nelson. I have looked for the Winnie The Pooh theme online but have been unable. Is there a place I can buy that song? I have a little girl on the way in the next week or so.

An earnest greeting to you, Mr. Nelson!

My name is Tyler. After doing my homework and finding your site, I have a rather direct request for you, if you would so graciously take the time to even consider it. You see, I too am in indebtedly grateful for your musical contributions to the New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh series; so much, in fact, that I must ask if there is any possibility I could perhaps buy its score from you somehow. I was reminded of how well-crafted the pieces in that show were and would very much love to have the soundtrack in my collection.

With that said, I'm signing your Guestbook with my email (imablueperson@hotmail.com) enclosed, and would so greatly appreciate if you contacted me for us to work something out.

Thank you much for your time!

Jim

I know you have done some great work, but I would just like to thank you for the Winnie the Pooh theme song. That song still brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it.

Haven't heard anything you've done yet. Just stumbled onto your site by accident. I have a friend named Steve Nelsen {Nels(E)n.}that I thought might just have put up a site until I saw the spelling. I will listen when I can. I am a LONG time Guy Clark fan... That gives you instant "cred" in my book...

If I may be so bold, I bought 2 of your cd's tonight after your concert and have a thought for you. I don't know what your new album will be like, but many of the most inspired and beautiful songs I heard tonight were not nearly as moving with back up singers and additional instruments on the track. I think your voice has a quality of a storyteller which is best left unmasked by other sounds, and the rhythmic drive of the guitar which accompanied so well tonight was not replaced so well with other instruments. Especially the song Off the Map, that was so moving I had to close my eyes, but then it lost it's intensity on the album. I truly enjoyed your music and hope VERY much for an acoustic album sometime soon. Cheers! Please take my comments with the spirit in which they were meant, which was very moved by your performance. Best wishes, Ana Toth

Absolutely love "John's Pond". It's the sweetest melancholy I've heard in a long time. Peace, my friend.
